Prof. Dr. Ömer Melih Gül has been raised from the Region 8 (Europe, Middle East, and Africa Region) Coordinator to the Vice-Chair of the Geographic Activities Committee, which coordinates the activities of 233 professional/section chapters and 727 student chapters at the IEEE Computer Society, the world's largest technological trade partnership in the field of computer engineering and science.
